Praat syntax highlighter for Sublime Text

praatSublimeSyntax: Praat scripting Syntax highlighter for Sublime Text (available for Windows, Linux and (Mac) OS X). This highlighter has been designed to work with the latests Praat syntax, although it is also relatively compatible with older syntax definitions. So far, the highlighter includes: highlighting for most Praat functions, commands and operators; code folding; snippets for assisted writing of loops, conditional jumps and forms. Praat scripting manual (workshop) for beginners

Praat scripting manual (workshop) for beginners: Manual/workshop for writing Praat scripts for beginners (in English). This manual/workshop, unlike other existing manuals, is exclusively devoted to script writing (not to Praat's general usage) and it doesn't presume any previous programming experience. Amongst other subjects, it covers: the Praat Objects window, how to read and write scripts in Praat, good scripting practices, uses and types of variables, conditional jumps (if), loops (for, while, repeat), common numerical and string functions, debugging, interacting with the user, procedures and arrays. It also includes many tips, script examples and learning exercises, for which the solutions can be found in the accompanying folders and files.

Using Praat for research in Speech Sciences: Programming fundamentals, methods and good practices for production and perception studies

Praat scripting workshop for beginners and fundamentals for the conduction of production and perception studies in speech sciences. For a full list of contents, please check the files from below. It includes many tips, examples, and learning exercises, whose solution can be found in the companion folders. This three-day workshop was originally prepared for postgraduate students and colleagues from the Phonetics Laboratory, University of Cambridge, and improved and expanded later for students and colleagues from the Department of English Language and Linguistics, University of Kent. Plugin to transform colour codes to Praat's native format

plugin_colour: Praat's plugin to transform colour codes expressed in hexadecimal, RGB or HSV formats into Praat's native RGB format. This plugin is available through CPrAN: The plugin manager for Praat (CPrAN installation instructions). Once CPrAN and the plugin have been installed, several new commands become available in the Picture window, in particular, alternative versions for all those commands receiving Colour... as an argument.
